A Lifelong Educator
Kiné’s teaching journey began in 2005 under her father, Ibrahima Camara (National Ballet of Senegal), starting with traditional Senegalese dance. Today, she specializes in contemporary Afro styles (Amapiano, Azonto, Afrohouse) while emphasizing cultural context. She has taught for:

  • Universities: University of Washington, Cornish College, University of Florida

  • Camps/Festivals: Vancouver AfroFest (2024), The Afro Dance Experience (Portland, 2025), AKM (Vancouver, 2026), Unity (Vancouver, 2026)

  • International Workshops: Paris, Vancouver, Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta, Atlanta, New York

On Stage
While community building remains her focus, Kiné lights up stages with artists like Uncle Waffles, Tiwa Savage, and Adekunle Gold, performing everywhere from major festivals to intimate club events.

Vision
Kiné’s work celebrates African diasporic culture through dance that educates, connects, and liberates—honoring traditions while innovating for the future.
